Course Info
BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE.
WATER: All 3W Races finish line areas are cup-free to keep needless waste out of our landfills. Thanks for joining us to promote responsible stewardship of our resources. We WILL have coolers of water available for you to fill your personal bottle before and after the event.
On distances 5 miles and longer, there will be one water station with compost-able cups available. Use our cups or fill your bottle at the station! Many runners find it faster to start with a full bottle and not ever slow down for a water station!
FUEL: Post-race snacks, such as bagels and bananas, and water are provided at each event. Food and water will always be available until every racer has crossed the finish line!
TOILETS: Portajohns are located at the start/finish/expo. There are not restroom facilities on the trail.
COURSE MAPS:
COURSE SURFACE: These courses are a mix of concrete and crushed gravel with the majority of the course on crushed gravel. This course is appropriate for strollers. See "Dogs and Strollers" page for more info. The events are held with courses in 'as is' conditions - meaning, if 3 inches of snow has fallen the morning of the event, you'll likely be running in 3 inches of snow. The City does a great job maintaining the trails and removing snow that has fallen the day before, but ice storms or rainy conditions during the event can cause slippery surfaces. Participants are encouraged to utilize appropriate traction on their footwear for winter events!
